Miracles and fun!

Wow what a week it has been. I am going to try and get it all out but I might be logged off soon soooo lets gooo.

The work was so good this week. So many miracles and amazing people. We are still working with our main man W. He is a baller (definition: extremely good or impressive-for those of you not up on the lingo). He has almost read the entire Book of Mormon and is starting to read D&C. He is just taking it all in. He came to church as well and really enjoyed it. We have a good relationship with him and hope to help him overcome his W.o.W. issues.

We were also able to have some good lessons with S. She came to church this week as well and even though her English isn't the best she still can feel the spirit. We were reading 2 Nephi 31 with her and she told us that she really felt the spirit while we read it.

We also found a couple new investigators, one of which came to church named M. She is wonderful person and just wants to follow Christ. We had some fun lessons with her involving fire and tea bags. Anything with fire will get peoples attention... fun fact.

The other day we got in with this sweet guy name D. and started teaching him. We got all the way to the end and began to discuss the possibility of scheduling him for baptism when he told us he had already been baptized. In England just about everyone has been baptized into the church of England so that's what we thought he meant. But as it turns out he was baptised a Mormon! So that was quite shocking haha. We are still working with him though because he was baptized at 8 so he forgot most of the teachings.

We have a really fun flat. We all work hard and get along. There's this sauce in the flat that is soooooo ridiculously hot. It should be illegal. The other day I was tricked into having a whole spoon full of it... long story short...I was sweating and crying for a little bit that day. Moral of the story is.... I hate spicy stuff. Another funny thing was that we have a new missionary in our flat. As most new missionaries who come out, he didn't have the first vision memorized just yet (I didn't either). So while we were practising the restoration we had him try to quote the phrase "He saw a pillar of light, exactly over his head..... it was pretty bright " hahaha I lost it after he said that. Needless to say he has it memorized now and he is a great missionary. Just a funny experience his first week in the mission.

Another highlight from this week was that we had a zone training meeting on helping our investigators pray that the Book of Mormon is true and helping them recognize their answer. We were also able to talk about the new #hallelujah initiative the church is doing for Easter. Its a good video and I encourage everyone to watch it and then show it to a friend. Where would we be without the Saviour... and where are we with him? If he has truly changed us then we will want to share it with others.

Well thats it for the week. Filled with miracles and fun! Hope that everyone is enjoying the rain in Cali because we are enjoying the sun in England. Love you all!
